John Rendell is a candidate for the Utah House of Representatives District 47 (Midvale & West Jordan).

Education

As your State Representative my first priority will be to do all I can to assure the schools in both both the Canyons and Jordan school districts get proper funding. All of our children have the right to a quality education regardless of where they live.

Transportation

As your State Representative I will work hard for the very best solutions to our transportation needs as our area continues to grow. This will be a difficult and on-going process that will require close attention and hard work each step of the way.

Fair and Reasonable Representation

I will represent our district in a fair and reasonable way. I will not get caught up in message bills, so-called federal issues, or any other legislation that will end up costing Utah tax payers money to defend. I will be your Utah State Representative and it will be my responsibility to focus on issues that impact our district and state.

As your State Representative I will represent the people of District 47 with dignity, honesty, openness, and respect.

Balance

Twenty-five years of business experience has taught me how to work the realities of budgetary restraints. Legislative priorities must be brought in line with fiscal responsibility.

Water / Energy

I will support water conservation legislation including tax incentives for businesses and homeowners, and those who invest in clean renewable energy sources.

Health Care

I believe that every Utah family deserves accessible, affordable health care.
